Project Overview
To support the Northeast US market launch of the Quantum Strive, a high-performance spinning combo, Quantum needed campaign imagery that captured both grit and credibility. Set against the backdrop of the often overlooked fall striped bass run past Manhattan, this campaign aimed to showcase the combo being “Tested Beyond Limits” in real-world conditions.
My assignment was to develop and capture a library of still imagery that embodied that message, working in tandem with the video team as they produced a long-form content piece. While they focused on narrative video, I ensured the photography complemented and expanded the campaign’s emotional and visual range. Working with Capt. Frank Crescitelli and his camera boat operator added local knowledge and realism to the shoot, allowing us to time locations, currents, and natural lighting around the fish and the story.
The goal:
Create assets that looked less like posed product shots and more like lived-in moments on the water, while still aligning with broader campaign visuals.
